Wakulla County Florida is located in the northwest portion of Florida below Tallahasee.  The primary law enforcement agency is the Wakulla County Sheriffs Office.   The sheriffs office has a very aggressive traffic unit.  Aside from under cover vehicles, the sheriffs office also has several motorcycles.  These deputies issue hundred of citations a year for unlawful speed, careless and reckless driving, and driving under the influence (DUI).  The motor unit is equipped with radars on the bikes and normall use a laser gun for speed enforcement.

Aside from the Sheriffs office, the Florida Highway Patrol spends many hours patrolling the highways and streets of the county.  The Florida Highway Patrol and all law enforcement agencies combined wrote over 2,200 speeding tickets in 2007.  Aside from speeding tickets, law enforcement in the county arrested over 100 people for driving under the influence. 
 
The courthouse  is located south of Interstate 10 and Tallahassee in Crawfordville.  The clerks office is located at 3056 Crawfordville Highway in Crawfordville, Florida.
