Brevard County Florida is located on the east coast of Florida. The most recent census put the population over 500,000. Home to the Kennedy Space Center, Brevard County continues to be a popular tourist destination. Brevard county's nickname is the Space Coast.
The county seat is in Titusville but the county Judicial center is located in Viera. Along with its adjacent county Seminole, Brevard encompasses the 18th judicial circuit. There are many cities who call home to Brevard County. They include Cape Canaveral, Cocoa, Cocoa Beach, Grant-Valkaria, Indialantic, Indian Harbour Beach, Malabar, Melbourne, Melbourne Beach, Melbourne Village, Palm Bay, Palm Shores, Rockledge, Satellite Beach, Titusville, and West Melbourne.
The Brevard County clerk of court is home to all the official and court records. The Brevard County sheriffs office is the main law enforcement agency in the State. Aside from the sheriffs office, the Florida Highway patrol is reponsible for a majority of the traffic enforcement. This would include speeding tickets, careless driving, no valid driver's license, driving under the influence, driving while license suspended as well as violation of right of way.
